Question by sooie11209: What do I say to kids about sex offender in neighborhood?

I just got a notice on the door that a level 3 sex offender moved into our neighborhood. She raped an adult female at knifepoint and left her naked in the woods. My husband and I have 3 girls, age 14, 10, and 9. I don't know what to say to them about it. I'm totally freaked out but I don't want them to be too scared to go outside. What do I say?
