Question by Griz: Why are women less into casual sex than men?

I know women enjoy sex as much as or more than men. But clearly men are the ones who more desperately want it--especially with a new and different person. I wonder how women truely feel about this. Do women want to have casual sex as much but are afraid? Do they have something inside them that makes them much more choosie? Why are so many men trying to get laid and can't and yet there are more women out there? What is going on in women's heads that creates this difference?

it could be the "play hard to get" theme. women tend to take it over the edge and lose a guys interest. yeah we like sex probably more than any guy really knows, especially if you know what you're doing.
